TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Midland, Michigan, 48640 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Michigan RN License Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA Must-Have: - Prior travel experience preferred - Epic experience highly preferred - Two supervisory reference forms, taken within the last two years Job Description: - Assess the needs of each patient during a surgical procedure, ensuring policies and procedures are met. - Maintain patient safety throughout the surgical process. - Outline individual care plans, implement, evaluate, and document care for patients during surgery. - Provide leadership to the surgical team, effectively communicating with patients, families, the surgical team, management, and ancillary departments. - Participate in staff development through preceptorship and continuing education. - Assist anesthesia and perform other duties as assigned. - Adhere to facility-specific requirements, such as non-acceptance of local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
